Raizer II Lifting Device

The Raiizer II lifting chair is a portable battery-powered lifting device designed to safely raise an individual from the floor following a fall. The chair is assembled around the person while they remain seated on the floor and then gently lifts them into a seated position, allowing them to stand or transfer safely with minimal physical effort from carers.

This type of lifting device is particularly beneficial for older adults, individuals with neurological conditions, reduced mobility or those at increased risk of falls. It provides a safe, dignified alternative to manual lifting and can often help avoid unnecessary ambulance call-outs where no injury has been sustained.

Following an independent Occupational Therapy assessment, Adapt OT can determine whether an emergency lifting chair is the most appropriate falls management solution, considering the individual’s mobility, transfer ability, falls history and home environment.
