Free Standing Toilet Frame

A free-standing toilet frame provides additional support for individuals who have difficulty sitting down onto or standing up from the toilet. Positioned around the toilet without the need for permanent fixing, it offers sturdy armrests to improve stability, confidence and safety during transfers.

Free-standing toilet frames are suitable for individuals with reduced mobility, arthritis, muscle weakness, neurological conditions or those recovering from illness or surgery. They are an ideal solution where wall-mounted grab rails are not suitable or where a non-permanent option is preferred, making them appropriate for both owned and rented properties.

Following an independent Occupational Therapy assessment, Adapt OT can determine whether a free-standing toilet frame is the most appropriate solution, ensuring it is compatible with the user’s mobility, bathroom layout and transfer needs.
