Through Floor Lift

A through floor lift provides safe, convenient access between floors for individuals who are unable to use the stairs. Travelling through a discreet opening in the floor, it offers an effective alternative to a stairlift and is suitable for wheelchair users, individuals with reduced mobility and those with progressive neurological conditions.

Through floor lifts require minimal structural alterations and can be installed in a wide range of properties. They are available in standing and wheelchair-accessible models, helping individuals remain independent in their own home while reducing the physical demands of using the stairs.

Following an independent Occupational Therapy assessment, Adapt OT can determine whether a through floor lift is the most appropriate solution, taking into account the individual’s mobility, current and future needs, and the suitability of the property.
